About Andrew

Andrew Mooney is an international nomad who has lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, Vietnam and the Solomon Islands, and visited and worked in more than thirty-five countries.

Born in Singapore, his parents moved the family (Andrew and his two younger brothers, Robert and Paul) from Singapore to England, to South Africa, back to England, and finally to Sydney, Australia, all before he was 15. Andrew finished school in Australia, then earned a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance) and a Masters in Applied Finance.

He lives in Sydney and, when (if) he ever retires, will move to his dream house in Vietnam.

The writer

A love of numbers and a love of writing. Andrew was inspired to write his first novel after a self-publishing course, setting out to write a book he would like to read. That becameTime to Pay the Piper (2020), followed by Retribution (2022).
