A Guide to the Good Life (the ancient art of stoic joy) by William B. Irvine

I have studied and try to practice (as much as possible) the philosophy of Stoicism and have been an adherent for the past twenty years. I have always struggled to articulate to others why this philosophy works for me. Well I don’t need to articulate any further as William B. Irvine does a far better job than I ever could. A thoroughly invaluable book full of great insights to this wonderful way of living. Well done, Professor Irvine!
